PRESENTATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON THE SPEAKERS PAGE

Every other year the FBI CJIS ISO Program offers the ISO Community a free, face to face, CJIS Security Policy and Cybersecurity training event called the FBI CJIS ISO Symposium.  Unfortunately, at the dismay of the FBI CJIS ISO, this year’s event was canceled due to issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a longtime FBI CJIS partner, ECS understands the commitment and dedication the ISO Program Team has to the ISO Community.  Recognizing this commitment, Team ECS decided to “give something back” in honor of the men and women who work diligently to protect Criminal Justice Information.  The 2020 Virtual ISO Academy is our virtual version of the FBI CJIS ISO Symposium offered for free to the ISO Community.

The Virtual ISO Academy allows attendees to connect, collaborate, and learn in a real-time, virtual conference environment like the live event.  This year’s live virtual event features up-to-date information on the CJIS Security Policy, IT Security audits, latest cybersecurity trends, and emerging threats and security strategies.  Attendees can interact with speakers, visit the Vendor Expo, chat with other attendees or vendors, watch demos, network, and even participate in a virtual game of soccer with the other ISOs!

Among the list of speakers this year, we are proud to have the FBI CJIS ISO, Chris Weatherly, Deputy ISO Jeff Campbell, the FBI CJIS CIAU Unit Chief, George White, and the IT Security Audit team.  Our Key Note Speakers include the CTO of Microsoft’s Public Sector Services, Dr. Dan Craytor and the “father of the FISMA security standards”, Ron Ross.  Each day’s theme contributes to our overall event theme of “Full Spectrum Security”.

We hope you will not only join us for our virtual live event, but that you will enjoy yourself just as if it were in person.
