InfoReliance Wins $16M Recompete from U.S. Marine Corps to Manage the Enterprise Training Program
New Contract Enables Partnership to Enhance MCTIMS for Evolving Requirements
Fairfax, VA - February 27, 2017: In a recent recompete, InfoReliance, a leading provider of public sector technology solutions, was awarded a $16M Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of three years by the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The partnership focuses on continued development and enhancement of the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), a world-class enterprise training program that supports the mission of the USMC’s Training and Education Command (TECOM), and is available for use by the Total Force.
“This win is a source of corporate pride, reflecting years of dedication and hard work supporting TECOM and the entire Marine Corps,” said Mick Perry, EVP of Mission Systems at InfoReliance. “Ours is a long-term partnership that has been founded on InfoReliance’s commitment to the training needs of the warfighter. Our entire MCTIMS team is extremely excited about continuing to make a real difference for Marines throughout the fleet.”
Over the past 15 years, MCTIMS has grown and evolved to meet TECOM’s requirements, thanks largely to the partnership of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), TECOM, and InfoReliance. As the scope of future MCTIMS initiatives continues to expand, the USMC requires a trustworthy, low-risk partner to maintain this accelerated momentum in increased system performance and capabilities. Due to their demonstrated ability to leverage proven methods of cost-effective system maintenance, development, testing and training, InfoReliance has been selected to meet this demand through an IDIQ contract structure, which provides the flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the USMC.
Located in Quantico, VA and a key component of Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), TECOM is responsible for managing the resources that train and prepare Marines to meet the challenges of present and future operational environments. Their primary activities include the development, coordination, resourcing, execution, and evaluation of training and education concepts, policies, plans, and programs. Learn more about TECOM.
