InfoReliance Achieves ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 Certification for IT Service Management
FAIRFAX, Va. – InfoReliance has earned the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 20000-1:2011 certification in information technology service management (ITSM) for its corporate IT Service Desk operations. InfoReliance originally received the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 certification in January 2012 and upgraded to the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 standard for the annual surveillance audit. This continued achievement demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver industry-leading IT services to its corporate customers.
ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 is based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and is the first international standard for ITSM. It specifies requirements for how service providers should plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve a service management system.
